Initial Problems with INSTA 360 ONE X

It looked to me as if the camera was not sending out any WiFi. I have several other cameras using WiFi and I could detect them all though occasionally I had to turn WiFi off and on again on my Moto G4 phone before some of those cameras were detected.

Today I bought a compatible phone, a Samsung S8. The retail park I went to had numerous WiFi SSIDs as I found out inside the PC World store. The Huawei phones tried couldn’t see the camera but the Samsung did. Once home I fitted the SIM card from my old phone and waited while all my apps were installed / updated. When I tried the camera and phone together – SUCCESS! I made my first video.
